What does the consultation cover?
We have two consultation options: Quote Only Consultation & Remodel Consultation. Consultations are on location appointments The Pros Contracting does before every project.
Remodel Consultations ($250+) contractor walk through for more detailed projects. These jobs may include projects working alongside Interior Designers, Architects, Insurance companies, Financial Institutions, etc. They may also include “custom work”. These type of estimates may take more time to get sub-contractor pricing, code-enforcement research, designer layouts, or a more detailed estimate for submission. Once we meet with the client we can discuss additional fees if necessary or recommendations to some of our trusted professionals who can help execute you or your teams vision. Quote Only Consultations ($150) include a contractor walk through and project quote.
This is the potential client’s opportunity to discuss all the updates and features desired in the space. So be open and honest about the wants and needs of the space and ask any questions you may have. The base price covers one renovation project at the location of the booked address only!!!
Does the consultation fee go towards the project cost?
The Quote Only consultation fee goes towards the project if accepted. However, the nature of a Remodel Consultation makes it a separate, custom service and the fee does not go towards the job.
Can I get a ballpark figure over the phone?
A Discovery Call could help you get an idea of what your project may cost. However, a Quote Only Consultation is more detailed and helps familiarize us with potential projects and clients, identify possible issues that may impede completion, clear any confusion the client may have about the process and allow for collaborative solutions.
Does The pros contracting offer in house financing?
The Pros Contracting does offer financing through Acorn Finance. See if you qualify here.
Will I get a receipt or documentation of my payments?
Absolutely! Even if you decide to pay in cash, everything from the consultation fee down to the final payment of your renovation will be documented and provided to you.
When will I receive a start date?
After your consultation and you have accepted the estimated figures, a start date will be given after all necessary items are purchased and received for the renovation or remodel.
Will The Pros Contracting help me design my space?
All design concepts including but not limited to: paint color, flooring, lighting, fixtures, furniture, tile and finishings are expected to be decided by the client or interior designer. The Pros Contracting is responsible for the aspects of execution and completion of the agreed upon scope of work only.
After my consultation, how long is the estimated quote good for?
You will have 30 days from the date you receive the estimate statement to contact us to get a provisional start time frame. Any time after the 30 days, the pricing may be subject to change based on inflation and other unforeseen variables.
